Our Story 👋
We built Order Udye because we watched restaurant owners drown in WhatsApp messages every lunch rush — orders getting lost, customers asking "zvaita here?" ten times, cashiers squinting at EcoCash screenshots trying to match payments to orders.
The thing is, WhatsApp is perfect in Zimbabwe. Everyone has it. No one needs to download a new app. But using it for orders manually? That breaks at 15+ messages per hour.
Order Udye automates the messy parts — taking the order, tracking what's paid, telling the customer when it's ready — so business owners can focus on what they do best.
Food is first, but we're building WhatsApp ordering for hair salons, bus tickets, building materials, and more. One country, one messaging app, every industry.
Who we are
We're a husband-and-wife team combining technology and business development:
- Technical — Cloud engineer at a tech company. Builds the platform, writes the code, keeps the servers running.
- Commercial — Certified in Sales and Marketing. Handles business strategy, merchant relationships, and growth.
